Only if he failed to provide support ahead of time & then give the green light to Putin like JB did.

We now know that Biden was mentally incompetent. One has to wonder if the green light speech was a mix up in his brain about what the real decision makers at the WH were able to tolerate without return military action. Joe may have been “showing their cards” in an episode of confusion.

This is what happens when you hide the fact your leader has dementia.

Absolute, this war wouldn’t happen under Trump.

But to use your own arguments….please provide proof that it would.

Russia's telegraphed invasion.

Putin was given the means and the go ahead to invade Ukraine through Biden's actions.
Plus, Putin had the past experience of Biden as VP allowing him to get away with taking Crimea from Ukraine.

SCOTT SIMON, HOST:

President Biden has said he's convinced that Vladimir Putin has made a decision and will invade Ukraine. The president reiterated that Russia will face unprecedented sanctions if such a military invasion takes place.

SIMON: How was President Biden's address received in Ukraine?

KAKISSIS: So reactions were mixed as Ukrainians were waking up today. The hottest topic in Ukraine overnight was actually a famous political talk show where the editor-in-chief of a prominent news website slapped a pro-Russian politician on live TV. And this is - by the way, this is not the first time this pro-Russian politician was slapped on live TV. So Biden's remarks were sort of second fiddle to that drama.

Ukrainians are also asking why hasn't President Zelenskyy addressed the nation? Why are we only hearing from the American president? And, you know, what is Zelenskyy doing today? He's flying to Munich for the Munich Security Conference, where many Western leaders are in heated discussions about Ukraine. And he is scheduled to return to Ukraine later today.

The question was asked to Biden what would NATO do if Putin/Russia invaded Ukraine. His response while inartful, never said "we won't do anything depending on what kind of attack" like MAGA ears comprehend. The sentiment was depending on the severity of the incursion, the appropriate response from NATO would follow suit. However, MAGA either intentionally or unintentionally lack nuance. Either way they come across like morons!

First deny it existed, then backpedal to spin that it was “inartful”-gave Putin what he needed

Ukraine is not part of NATO and never will be.
Putin warned multiple times that if NATO ever took in Ukraine as a member that it would be war.
BidenHandlers proposed NATO membership for Ukraine anyways when he came into office.

Russia makes its money and pays for its military expenses with oil.
Europe is dependent on Russian oil and NG -esp winter heating oil.
Trump was setting up infrastructure to export oil to EU to replace the dependence on Russia.
Biden gutted the infrastructure development, drilling contracts, etc when he took office.

Russia was building Nordstream 2 pipeline under Black Sea to sell to Uriel as well but lacked engineering tech to complete the deepest part of the pipeline. This would increase EU (and esp German dependence on Russia which would make them far less likely to intervene should Russia turn on Ukraine or other eastern block countries that left Soviet Union.
Trump banned all US companies from providing tech to Putin.
Biden removed ban in his first months in office allowing Russia to make more money and create more EU dependence.

Putin amassed troops on Ukraine border for weeks ahead of invasion - Biden would not give aid when it would have likely deterred invasion.
Biden gave speech (above) where he clearly implied that a “minor incursion” would be tolerable without a major US response.

Biden was VP with Obama in 2014 when Putin invaded Ukraine and took Crimea because it coveted a warm sea port for its economy. Biden/Obama did nothing but send blankets - Putin saw utter weakness.
Biden’s various actions above signaled the same weakness as before, and with the threat of Ukraine joining NATO which would OBLIGATE the US to go to war if Russia invaded, Putin decided to go in first.

Now you should see that your response post made no sense. Biden gave the green light to to Putin and when given another chance to clarify, he started talking about how the US would not tolerate the UN being split up - Ukraine was not part of the UN and in fact Biden’s response just confirmed to Putin that if he didn’t invade now, he never would if NATO brought Ukraine in.

You always ask questions, but you never do any of the footwork yourself. You also doing read posts or you would know all of this from many people’s posts.
There you go.

This includes the "Walk Back" opportunity offered up to Biden by the media where Biden doesn't just simply answer the question. (In his response he gives a nonsensical answer about not ever "splitting NATO", but Ukraine is not a NATO member).

This absolutely influenced Putin. He sensed weakness just as he did when he invaded Crimea while Biden was also in office with Obama and they did nothing except send blankets for support.
