No, anyone trying to make cuts to poor people while giving rich people tax breaks is HOPELESSS.
How about something across the board and fair? Enough short term growth with deficits while mortgaging the long term future.

Of course he was. The issue is when you posit yourself as the person who will change it, but then
act even more recklessly. Here’s the bad news folks. Entitlements across the board are going to have to take a huge haircut. It’s easy to wack the poorest and the most helpless which is Trumpism 101. That won’t solve the problem though. On top of the entitlement haircut, there will also need to be tax increases starting with extending the social security tax to make that solvent.
