This will be interesting as the tariff power is clearly under Article I of the Constitution.
The theft of that power under fake emergencies by the Executive will be a litigated issue.

This is 100% right - the president has the power to control commerce in emergencies
Congress passed that in 1978…but left the definition of emergencies up to the president.
Talk about a mistake.
Trump has claimed all sorts of emergency powers, which are a horrible precedent. Idiot MAGA types might want to consider how these powers might be similarly abused by future presidents with whom they don’t slavishly agree.
