Congress passed that in 1978…but left the definition of emergencies up to the president.

Talk about a mistake.

Trump has claimed all sorts of emergency powers, which are a horrible precedent. Idiot MAGA types might want to consider how these powers might be similarly abused by future presidents with whom they don’t slavishly agree.

Tariffs were one leg of Trump's three-legged economic stool.

This decision seems to put things on hold... with midterm campaigning not that far off.

Is the whole Trump "Golden Age" agenda in jeopardy?
