That's some 21st century warfare.

Putin has to realize he can’t win.
Seems that Trump is waking to that obvious reality. This strike has US HELP written all over it.
I should have known.
The details here are amazing.

Announcing our assistance would just invite Putin to strike targets outside of Ukraine.
Cmon Ned.
while US trying to negotiate peace? Cool. It's for the best since Putin has no more interest in a cease fire than Zelensky.
Their business now.
No need to play cash daddy for unwinnable wars.
One side accepted the cease fire.
One side’s leader would not even attend the meeting.

Like, war is kind of like a football game! Totally cool!
I guess that you have to be old enough to appreciate the irony.
In Vietnam, we fought with the goal of a standstill, and we chose not to push to win.
In Ukraine, like in Afghanistan, winning isn’t possible.
The left’s zeal for Ukrainian’s to “fight until we are all dead” -and that includes all of the conscripts with no choice - is mind boggling when paired with their previous views.
I would have pushed to win in Vietnam - but when it became clear that wasn’t the goal, I (and almost everyone) favored getting out.
The same applies here to Ukraine (as it did in Afghanistan too).
Because most of these liberals here reflect the talking points of their DNC programmers, it makes me wonder why they are giving such a viewpoint to their drones.
It really makes me want a full accounting of where all of the Ukraine Aid money is REALLY going,

was for MAS.
Striking that covertly and strategically is quite the feat.
We have an isolationist, Putin cock sucking dimwit at the helm.
from the Eli, Cole and MAS triumvirate.
the death toll for years.
Eventually, they will run out of able bodied men (already) and then begin conscripting young men, and then boys, and women. Then, they can negotiate to bring in other countries fighters.
If they ever do get close enough to cause real threat to Russia itself, then we will have a nuclear response toward them and the countries that Russia views that they are also fighting.
The time to end this horrible mess was before it started. It was to never enact the policies and messaging that enabled the beast (Putin) to become uncaged. It was before the leader of Ukraine himself set up a dictatorship in response.
I care about soldiers and civilians enough to not waste their lives on an unwinnable goal. Like taking that next 10 yards at the Maginot Line.I think that there is lack of perspective on the actual significance of what was achieved here.

You’ve made that clear with your change of course on the war. There was a time when you were anti-Putin. You correctly pointed out who was responsible for the war. Now you call Zelensky a dictator and you blame the victim. You also think that Russia wouldn’t have attacked the Ukraine if Trump was in office. It’s obvious that Putin thinks Trump is a joke. Putin flips Trump off with one hand and shakes his hand with the other. So much for ending the war within 24 hours of taking office.
This strike was a big deal. Russia has approximately 70-80 strategic bombers…oops, now they only have 30-40. Thank you, Zelensky.
Isn’t it grand?
We (the US) can just spend money that we don’t have to weaken an enemy at the expense of other country’s lives!
(Because we know that the Ukranians can’t win….but you can at least look at the benefit to the US as a selling point!).
Your false accusations about me not caring about the Uk soldiers and civilians here is a direct reflection of your own underlying understanding of the consequences to these people of your own chosen path.
I cannot condone the killing here when there is no chance of ultimate success - and doing it for selfish gain of our own benefit in the US is esp odious.
It’s tempting to be happy at this jab against Putin until you consider his response, his adaptation to do the same in return when we all still know that the desired outcome of Uk winning the war is not possible.
Well, allies don’t ass fuck their allies. That’s essentially what Trump’s doing to NATO and Ukraine. And I believe it’s up to the Ukraine when it comes to fighting for their very survival.
