To sate the genocidal bloodlust that Putin has incited in his serfdom we should see a massive retaliatory assault on Ukrainian cities very very soon... unless Trump can talk Putin down from his humiliation rage.

He’s not saying that. He is saying that the Ukes didn't attack their nuclear arsenal and that is
accurate. My limited point was that they did at least to some decent extent hit the Russian heavy bombers which can carry nukes. That wasn’t insignificant.

Hopefully that is part of the plan, and we have bolstered Ukraine's air defenses for just such an attack.

Times have changed and this isn’t WW2…
In recent history (Afghanistan), we’ve seen the Russians (Soviet Union) withdraw from conflict. While I don’t see the Ukraine out right winning, I do think the Russia will get tired of losing troops.
They withdrew after 40K casualties. Again like that war, and unlike WWII, a UKE survival isn’t
the existential threat that a Nazi victory in WWII was.

But, if Ukraine (hopefully) and Afghanistan and Vietnam show us anything, it is that Biden was wrong, and a motivated militia can make victory impossible for a superpower even when that militia doesn't have F-15s and nuclear weapons. So, Ukraine has a chance if it stays motivated...and that is entirely up to them, of course.
I think you and maybe Old Joe underestimated the Ukraine military. T’aint no militia.
They learned their lesson after 2014 and became one of the better militaries on the continent.
