The DNCs lawsuits to prevent RFK Jr from being on ballots in Michigan and Wisconsin and then lawsuits to keep him on were the highlight of the DNC assaults on "democracy" in 2024.
This had nothing to do with Jr. they were trying to overturn
Proposal 3 of 2018 and Proposal 2 of 2022 both passed with at least 60% of the vote and guaranteed the rights to same-day voter registration, nine days of early voting, absentee voting, among other rights. After voters approved the constitutional amendments, the Legislature passed legislation implementing the measures.
The current GOP wants to limit voter participation and revert to gerrymandering.
Okay, which is worse, limiting when you can vote or who you're allowed to vote for?
I'm in favor of online voting, we could use the Blockchain and immutable ledgers.
Speaking of Jr, he had a great idea: hand out voter ID cards at the post office free of charge. All it would require us the same verification methods you would need to get a SS card or a driver's license. And then, after you vote, you could go online and verify how your vote was counted.
