If you are only against waste, then you support deficit spending. Real cuts will mean real sacrifices for everyone. That is the bed we made. This is no longer only about wasteful spending.
LFranken must be in favor of actually cutting social security &Medicaid& funding Ukraine.
France already had round 1 of this reality: raise age until social security to 67 and buy some time for others to kick the can further.

I am against all but necessary spending. For example I’m not willing to kill kids to save few
dollars like getting rid of USAID did. I am willing to make the big entitlement cuts that really count. I am also willing to raise taxes where necessary. You are not.
What does this have to do with this bill which is a double whammy of wasteful spending and stupid revenue depriving tax cut extensions on the backs of poor people? Do you agree with Musk on it? Yes or no? No shuffling.

I don't know what Musk believes, nor do i care. I'll make my own decision before the next election on the bill if it passes. Snap decisions about major bills before we really know what is in them will likely be wrong...especially when people are apt to make things up about it. But, you know my principles. If it violates them, then Trump will just be doing what the left and right have been doing all along, which will disappoint me. If it follows my principles, I will be pleased. In the meantime, I'm not worried about making a decision now...my opinion won't matter either way. I'll just watch everyone else freak out about it no matter what is in it.
