There is no moral ambiguity here.

Which again shows what the Ukes will sacrifice for their freedom. I truly admire them that way.

Yes we did. And Zelensky knew it too on the eve of peace talks.

Think about that. He also did it behind the back of his greatest ally who is paying for his war, and who wanted to bring both sides, finally, to the table.

No win war, Zelensky hits them with attack that will bring them back stronger (new, better planes) and wiser, and will trigger killing of his own people. But it WAS a PR win.

Child, these kind of hits are really meaningful if you can follow up on it quickly, and take the fight to them to defeat them. That is not possible here. He should have gone into the peace talks and negotiated a cease fire.

And no child, I do not back Putin. I loathe him.

I believe that your TDS is SO severe, that you would rather the war and death persist than see an negotiated peace settlement which you would see as an intolerable victory for Trump (when really, it was a victory for the Ukrainian people getting slaughtered by the day). I am not sure you consciously realize it….I hope not.

The strike destroyed almost 40% of Russia’s strategic bombers…

and this made a huge difference. Ukraine will do other similar strikes in the future.

One other thing you fail to understand is that Russia has sustained over a million casualties in this war. That’s a million out of about 150 million people. That’s a big hit. Russia has made minimal advances against an enemy that is outnumbered roughly, 5-1. Western aid has made this possible. I’m looking forward to the Ukraine launching some of those German long range missiles.

And Zelensky attended ALL peace talks. Where was Putin? Putin sent low level fucks who had no decision making authority. Putin is the one who doesn’t want peace. My belief is that it’s because of Putin’s failing war time economy. Russia is in deep trouble in that regard.

starts to be legitimately threatened, this turns toward a a nuclear conflict.

This is all so much PR and bullshit.

The little camo tyrant doesn't want peace, and the mass murderer invader is certainly glad to continue.

but they have held the savage Russians to a stalemate for quite a while.

Zelensky has attended all peace talks. It’s apparent that Putin is the one who doesn’t want peace. How about quit blaming the victim. You’re sounding more and more like Eli and Cole. Do better.

It’s my own thought. If you admit that they can’t win, then it is just tossing lives into the fire

for pride/beliefs/selfish benefit from a several thousand mile distance.

Zelensky is not Putin, but he is not good either. After Putin’s invasion, Zelensky has deprived his own people of their freedom while he enjoys the stage of a rock star to the Left. He has either now corrupt himself, or he is Captain Ahab, and Putin is his white whale. Either way, his people are paying with their lives for no ultimate benefit to themselves while we foot the bill for the slaughter.

Bullshit. Zelensky is trying to preserve his people’s very freedom…

He is a damn good leader. Putin is the one who deprives his people freedom.

And I’m for supporting the Ukrainians for as long as they’re willing to fight. I never said they’d win, but who am I to stand in the way of people that are willing to fight for their very existence.

But I will respond to this asinine bilge: “ these kind of hits are really meaningful if you can follow up on it quickly, and take the fight to them to defeat them.”

Uh…no, Baron, it is generally useful to degrade the enemy’s ability to hit you, even if you can’t “follow up on it quickly, and take the fight to them to defeat them.” There is value in destroying some of the heavy bombers that have been causing so much destruction.

Think about it for five seconds.

Or don’t. I don’t care. You’re hopeless.
