If you lived in California in the 60s and 70s it seemed like a Garden of Eden.
Then they partook of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and became WOKE IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY!
If you live there now and feel it is the model for a healthy society going forward... you are completely delusional.
If our entire society follows that path it means the ultimate decadence of our nation.

You'd be shocked by Michigan's progress in every respect over the past decade.
Bankruptcy cleared out a lot of Democrat party created debt in our biggest city.
Our predominantly black Detroit population has elected a white mayor twice in a row.
Our taxes and housing costs are several quanta lower than in California.
Our traffic jams are non existent.
We have four distinct and beautiful seasons.
I would never leave here to return to California...
Unfortunately, California cannot file for bankruptcy... so they will continue to bleed citizens.

Totally wrong. You can’t judge the entire state by what’s going on in LA…
And frankly, the violence in LA is in small pockets of the city. I’m talking maybe 3 to 5 city blocks. Having said that, LA is a shit hole. I’ve never liked it there and I’ll never live there. I’m thankful that I live in San Diego. It’s not perfect, but it’s as close to it as possible for me and my family.
San Diego is VERY liveable, except for housing costs, taxes, traffic and homelessness... but SF & LA
control the state.
AND they were unbelievably wonderful places to live a mere half century ago.
It's the overall trend of the State that is most alarming.

That's you not me. I like 72 degree weather,,, but not every goddam day... and I like precipitation.
I'm also not crazy about spending hours in a car, like I do every time I'm in San Diego.
But you have one valid point... I'm jealous of the great life I had in California 40 years ago... but that world no longer exists.
It still exists…I’m living proof.
