paratroopers he used as his backdrop. Only his supporters were allowed at the event Everyone else had to stay away.
The whole parade is just for him.
And it will spark protests all over.
Such a great thing to be concentrating on while war is breaking out. Well done, Donny.
I'm thinking it wouldn't be hard to find supporters among the ranks of the military and law enforcement. I'm also thinking that "the wars" are a good thing in your world if it makes DJT look bad. This fake outrage routine is pretty hilarious.
You should try living in reality

excluding anyone from an event like this would never happen. besides, the 82nd is a gung-ho group and, as a career officer, i'm pretty sure you'd have a difficult assignment finding anyone that wasn't a supporter. it would be interesting to see your basis for this claim other than speculation, conjecture, and personal opinion.
do actually understand why he did this.
You would have behaved, but I definitely know of some who would not.
since he is the CIC. It’s a very low probability that any of them would speak out or cause a disruption. That’s the difference between the military and civilian population.
Unfortunately what we have is someone who’s insecure and only wants those that will praise and agree with him on everything. Also, the speech was weird and Trump didn’t mention anything about the glorious history and capabilities of the 82nd Airborne Division.

conor if you don’t think it is a significant risk. Explain Gen Milley.
Also, why are you bothered when you didn’t want the parade anyways?
And I’d have no problem with a parade that celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Army…not Trump’s birthday. And you’re kidding yourself if you think Trump isn’t thinking about that today.
I stand by my earlier point. ALL paratroopers should have been welcome. You’d understand this if you served and I don’t mean that as an insult. In uniform, politics don’t mean shit…at least not in my unit when I served.
