Trump was told by the very medical "experts" you revere that they were exploring ways to detoxify the body of Covid by injecting chemicals, and he said it would be interesting to explore if it were possible. That's basically all he said (yes, I used your vaunted liberal "fact" checkers to verify this) and never once used the word "bleach."
Just look at Dr. Birx’s body language as he uttered those remarks…tells you all you
need to know about DJT’s “Genius”…and don’t forget that he told Woodward in February that he knew just how deadly COVID was, but always wanted to “downplay” what was becoming a worldwide pandemic…we - including you - don’t need people like that in positions of responsibility for life and death….hopefully you can understand that.

Dr. Fauci was speaking about masking at a time when we did not have evidence that up to 40% of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) infected people had no symptoms...just like SARS-CoV-(1), so the general public didn't need them...just medical personnel...in large measure because Trump failed to replenish the nation's emergency stores of N95/KN95 respirator masks and ventilators. Once it was conclusively determined that unsympathetic people were infected to that degree, Tony Fauci IMMEDIATELY sounded the alarm and called for all persons to wear masks...unlike DJT who was still "Downplaying" the pandemic.
