I assume everyone who has played golf has wanted to throw clubs and break things at times.

But being an adult means you keep your temper in check. There should be penalties, maybe 2 strokes for unbecoming behavior, and Wyndham Clark needs a timeout.

The Oakmont Clubhouse is a National Landmark. The panels in those lockers have been there forever.

They are golf relics.

Clark should receive a harsh penalty from the USGA and / or The OCC.

I know several members who would like a private moment with him.

It's perfectly acceptable to throw clubs as long as you don't kill anyone. And even if you do, F them. Assumption of risk.

outright anger…Clark should be disciplined but not suspended …he’s not a mad man out there.

btw, his caddie, John Ellis, was a VG player himself (Canadian Tour)…we shared the same coach…but not the same game ;-).
