I'm sure our resident linkster will be happy to provide a counterpoint.

sort of thing good scientists want to be associated with. Just like your Dr. Risch with HCQ, you're going to find outliers like Richard Lintzen on CO2...back at the end of the 20th century, he might have had an argument, but that's gone away with the latest global temperature data from Dr. Roy Spencer.

Here's a great tutorial on CO2 and Climate Change...you're welcome...

with predictable sea levels and farming/fishing regions. Global Warming threatens to melt enough of our glaciers and ice caps such that major cities and living areas along the coasts of the world untenable. Add to that, farming areas no longer being productive (see concerns over our Colorado River Basin states ability to have enough water). Btw, if all of our glaciers and the ice caps melted, the sea level would rise ~270 ft....now that's not expected, since we only have less than 50 yrs of proven oil reserves, which even if tripled wouldn't likely produce temps like the the earth had during the dinosaur age, when there were no ice caps...but even a 10 ft. rise would make a big difference for humanity...take a 'Shroom' and imagine life under those conditions coming on rapidly, like our CO2 atmospheric concentration is.

Climate Scientists and Physicists aren't sounding the alarm just for fun...take heed, zoom out to the future, and make the right decisions.

We're collectively not going to stop burning fossil fuels until we run out or better technology emerges. Humans are terrible at mitigation and great at innovation. Necessity is the mother of all invention.

So face the facts, you're wasting your time worrying and whining about this issue.

levels and farming regions which seriously impact modern human living. One thing that humans have that dinosaurs didn't is the ability to reason, take action and respond to things within their control...like switching away from incinerating valuable Fossil Fuels, in favor of alternatives for heat and power, like Nuclear Power and Renewable Energy sources...where appropriate. We can...and we will...make such changes...learn to adapt...don't be a dinosaur that just lets things happen to it.

We don't have the ability to stop a meteor anymore than the dinosaurs, nice try.

Yes, it's going to happen...EV sales worldwide are increasing, and even DJT is bullish on Nuclear

Power plants that will support EVs, etc....here's an AI summary to the question of "are EV sales increasing?"...just accept it...you'll feel much better.
----------------------
Yes, electric vehicle (EV) sales are generally increasing, although the rate of growth has varied across different regions and time periods. In the U.S., EV sales increased in the fourth quarter of 2024 and set a new volume record for any quarter, with a 15.2% year-over-year jump. Globally, EV sales continue to grow, but some regions are experiencing slower growth than others.

Here's a more detailed look:

U.S. Market:

Cox Automotive reported a 15.2% year-over-year increase in EV sales in the fourth quarter of 2024, reaching 365,824 units.
Full-year EV sales in the U.S. in 2024 reached 1.3 million, a 7.3% increase compared to 2023.
While Tesla sales were estimated to be slightly lower year-over-year, other manufacturers like GM and Honda saw significant increases in EV sales.

Global Market:

Global EV sales continue to grow, but the growth rate is expected to slow in the coming years.
Emerging markets in Asia and Latin America are experiencing rapid growth, with sales surging by more than 60% in 2024.
Europe saw some stagnation in EV sales due to the phasing out of subsidies.
Overall, the IEA reports that more than one in four cars sold worldwide are expected to be electric this year.

Factors Influencing Growth:

Strong incentives from automakers and governments can boost sales.
Increased model availability and competition among manufacturers can also drive growth.
The affordability of EVs is also a key factor, with prices falling in some markets.
Challenges like supply chain constraints and volatile mineral prices can hinder growth.

Either their findings are sound or they're not. It makes zero difference who they are associated with, but if you want to play that game, how about all the climate "scientists" who receive massive funding for pushing climate hysteria?

Your second point about rising temperatures is also irrelevant. They are not saying the satellite record hasn't shown warming. What they're saying is the projected alleged catastrophic (at worst) and negative (at best) effects of such warming are overstated and that the Earth will not warm to "dangerous" levels.

You seem to value consensus over those at the top of their field. Who is going to know better how to win golf tournaments, Scottie Scheffler or a sampling of average PGA Tour players?

Richard Lentzen is not the top dog on this issue...aside from being rebuked by other MIT peers, the American Physical Society also acknowledges Climate Change due to the burning of Fossil Fuels...just Google "APS, Climate Change".
