Only 3 months before the debate, JB gave his SOTU speech (see below)...before that, he delivered
outstanding bipartisan legislation that GOP lawmakers derided, but touted at home (in the 4 yrs prior those GOP legislators had nothing to tout at home)...and before that, he in no way tried to "Downplay" the COVID-19 pandemic, nor did he fail to bring down this country's inflation rate...due to that pandemic... to the lowest level of any developed country....one example...used the SPR effectively to help keep gas prices down, and then turned a profit when finding the proper time to buy and refill it. The debate performance showed him running out of stamina, but not the ability to reason, and he honorably turned over his campaign to Kamala Harris who was the right choice with only 4 months to election day.

Which side participated in shielding the reality of its leader's condition from the public for years and denounced anyone who even questioned the fitness of the leader? Which side has devised its own, weird lexicon that is incomprehensible to normal, average people. and takes pride in the fact that those outside of the organization don't understand these words? Which side focuses upon inculcating children with ideas at odds with traditional norms and customs?
These are all examples of behaviors characteristic of cults. If you subtracted "MAGA" from my first line and offered these descriptions to someone 20 years ago, that person might have surmised that I was describing Scientology or the Children of God.
