Mamdami like Obama & Tudeau illustrates the fundamental problem with the left: form over substance

The left demonstrates time and again that they really aren't about substance or logical consistency in any meaningful way, and certainly don't mind getting raped as long as they get sweet talked before. They would rather have someone speak in dulcet tones and impose their anti-American will than someone speak in a brash tone and advocate on their behalf, particularly if that person is a white man. Just make sure that the talking points are distributed by CNN and MSNBC so they don't get socially shamed - the ultimate sin. Because appearing to be part of the intelligentsia is more important than rational independent thought.

Now that the left's race-baiting approach has been neutered, the left, who can't stand organized religion in the form of Christianity, almost assuredly will take up the First Amendment to defend this charlatan.

23 years after 9/11, New Yorkers put an anti-American radical Islamist on the ballot to potentially run the largest and most important city in the country. Think about that.

Sadly, New Yorkers have to rely on Eric Adams to save the day,

for the very wealthy...not so much for the ever increasing majority. Trump is all about serving the WANTS of the wealthiest Americans...not the NEEDS of everyone else. There's nothing "Anti-American" about that...certainly, FDR wouldn't be considered Anti-American, and he ushered in all sorts of changes from the previous Laissez-Faire approach of the Republican Party. Let's see what happens in this race.

characters in the past (e.g. Rudy Giuliani)...I like his attention to Wealth Inequality...he's a great communicator, so let's just see how he does. BTW, there's still an election to be won, and Mario is staying in it, facing the recently pardoned Mayor Adams, so it's early yet to go ballistic over this young newcomer.

One other thing...on the issue of his religion...let's not forget that tens of thousands of Afghani Muslims risked and some sacrificed, their lives to save American lives, and my wife and I met some great Muslims when we helped them get settled in the Bay Area...got invited to their daughter's Muslim wedding and had a great time. Let's stop knee jerking opposition to anyone who isn't Christian/Catholic...there are HUGE differences within the Muslim faith...just as within the Christian/Catholic faith.

The GOP billionaires do not. Not all billionaires are cut from the same cloth...just ask Bill Gates and Warren Buffett...as opposed to Elon Musk and Peter Thiel.

There is a difference...a BIG Difference...and that's what Mamdami is speaking to.

The pandemic itself made how many billionaires?

The tax thing is a red Herring. Billionaires are created and the wealth gap grows during every administration the last 2 decades. We need a 3rd, non-captured party.

...here's an AI response to the question of how much $$ Bill Gates has given to philanthropic causes...
-------------------
AI Overview

Bill Gates has donated over $100 billion to philanthropic causes through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which he co-founded with his then-wife, according to PBS NewsHour. He has pledged to donate virtually all of his wealth through the foundation, which includes the balance of the endowment and his future contributions, with an expected total of over $200 billion to be spent by 2045. The foundation, which has been instrumental in global health initiatives like developing new vaccines and fighting diseases, is set to close at the end of 2045.
---------------------

Sorry about that...

The Handlers of the Dem party have plans for this guy. Whether it's Soros or Obama, or whomever, there is money and power behind this guy to come in and win like this. Just like in Chicago with Obama. I fear they see this as a stepping stone.
This guy represents the future of the Democrat Party by those who control the levers of a party that has shown that it is willing to simply appoint rather than elect its' candidates.
