The Redstone family is selling Paramount Global (formerly CBS Viacom) to Skydance. Multi billion dollar deal that has been in the works for months.
The sale requires approval by US Government, namely DOJ.
Trump, like a Mobster, has exacted a $16 million toll/payoff to greenlight the sale. CBS “settled” the 60 Minutes nuisance suit, not because it had merit, but because it was the cost of doing business in order to facilitate the sale of the Redstone’s longstanding shares of Paramount.
