I was too young to vote for Reagan, but I would have in a military second…
I’m sure all Presidents appoint loyalists to a certain degree, but Trump took it to another level in term 2. He at least had some good cabinet appointees in term 1…this time around his selections have been bizarre, IMO.

I wanted him instead of Ford in the R primary. Then twice in 80 & 84.
I was too young to vote ‘76 though I followed it.
I voted for Trump 3x, but didny want him in the primary in ‘16.
