pardon of violent attackers of police who have served very little time in prison.

...from a Google AI search...
-------------------
AI Overview

Based on available information, President Biden granted clemency to Shelinder Aggarwal as part of a larger initiative to address disparities in sentencing for nonviolent drug offenses.

In December 2024, President Biden announced a mass clemency action, including commuting the sentences of nearly 1,500 people and pardoning 39 others. The individuals receiving clemency had typically been serving lengthy prison terms that would have been shorter under current laws and policies. Many of them were on home confinement since the COVID pandemic and were successfully reintegrating into their communities.

While the specific details surrounding Aggarwal's case are not individually highlighted in the available snippets, it is likely that Aggarwal's clemency was granted under the same criteria that informed this larger clemency action.

The broader context of Biden's clemency actions suggests a focus on:

Addressing sentencing disparities: The initiative aimed to mitigate the impact of past sentencing policies, particularly those that resulted in harsher penalties for certain drug offenses, disproportionately affecting minority communities.

Promoting rehabilitation and reintegration: The White House emphasized the successful reintegration of the clemency recipients into their communities, highlighting their efforts to rebuild their lives and contribute to society.

Providing second chances: The actions were presented as a commitment to offering individuals opportunities for a fresh start and contributing to a more equitable and just criminal justice system.

In essence, Aggarwal's clemency was likely part of a broader effort by the Biden administration to use its clemency powers to remedy past injustices, promote rehabilitation, and foster a more equitable criminal justice system.

Such thoughts I'm sure never entered Trump's mind when he pardoned those vicious attackers of D.C. Police Officers on Jan. 6th...while he sat back and watched it all on TV.

What else Ya' got, Frank?

time than current criminals do...for the same sort of non-violent crime. Biden didn't pardon or excuse his crime...just made his sentence more "Just"...nothing wrong with that. Now...let's talk about Trump's pardons for truly violent crimes against. of all victims...POLICE OFFICERS. Care to try and justify that?...If you don't step up, I assure you that I'll remind you of it again.

this, then please explain why his Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows was in direct contact with the architects of the "Fake Elector Scheme" as well as leaders of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys in the Willard Hotel "War Room" on Jan. 5th...btw, no one else here has. Not only was there violence, but there was a planned insurrection by Trump. He should be in prison for the rest of his life...right now.
