"RFK Jr.'s vaccine policy sparks a lawsuit from the American Academy of Pediatrics"...have any kids?

...Grandkids?...do you want to keep them healthy and safe?...ever take them to a Pediatrician?.

This action by several Medical Societies is almost unprecedented...because of the serious threat to our nation's health with RFK Jr. in charge of HHS...and his totally unscientific views on vaccines.

Trust in vaccines is being attacked by him and as a result many...and potentially hundreds of thousands of Americans are at risk of death and serious illness. Don't trivialize the concern by dedicated professionals whose only goal is keeping you and all Americans healthy.

It’s the anti-vaccine crowd’s fault. So yes, RFK takes blame.

That crowd helped create more vulnerable people, but unvetted open borders people (you) exposed them

The unvaccinated in our country (and Europe for the most part) were being protected by herd immunity - they were literally vulnerable but unexposed in a relatively safe environment.
Your allowance of unvetted mass migration from countries with active epidemics (measles is but one of them) is the match thrown onto the dry field.

I did not want RFK' I am not "antivax". However, epidemiologically speaking, your advocacy has had a greater negative effect than anyone else's.
Remember also that the vaccines also have a failure rate (esp the older ones in measles case vs the new vaccine which s in the 93%) and thus your policy hurt many of the vaccinated as well.
It is utterly amazing that you have denied this to me in the past. I have to assume that you know it but don't want to concede the point.

Clean Up on Aisle 5!...Baron shows his inability to dig any deeper than the surface of an issue.

...here's a Google AI search on immigrant vaccinations...they ARE afforded the opportunity to be vaccinated...totally the opposite of Baron's claim....charitably, he's "Misinformed"...
-----------------------
AI Overview

Yes, detained immigrants are offered vaccinations, but it's important to understand the details:

Vaccinations are voluntary: ICE states that it cannot force individuals in detention to be vaccinated, but it does encourage vaccinations.

Availability varies: The specific type and availability of vaccines in detention centers depend on what the local health department delivers to the facility and the medical treatment companies contracted by ICE.

No national system: There is no centralized national system for people in immigrant detention centers to sign up for or receive a vaccine, which has led to disparities in vaccination rates across facilities and states.

Concerns about vaccine hesitancy: Studies have shown that vaccine hesitancy exists among detained immigrants due to factors like concerns over vaccine content and side effects, lack of access to understandable information, and distrust in the healthcare system.

Risk of outbreaks: Correctional and detention facilities are considered high-risk settings for the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19 due to the close quarters. Studies have shown that ICE detention centers have experienced sustained outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases.

It's important to note that the information on this topic may be outdated due to the dynamic nature of vaccination efforts and policies. For the most up-to-date information, it's best to consult official sources and organizations that work directly with detained immigrants.

And to be very clear, I blamed the people supporting the unvetted immigration policy...that would be YOU (not the immigrants who merely carry the disease). But in cowardly fashion, you stick them in front of the finger pointed at yourself.

I’m paraphrasing: ”Of course you would think that” with the implication that I see the immigrants as icky people who need to be managed with a pair of tongs.

I mean, I just have medical training in the field (not that it was needed given how obvious this is with just the slightest bit of critical thinking)….. but I’m no Arts&Letters or Government major.

It was the same for public, untrained general population masking with homemade masks for a virus far smaller than the apertures of the filter.
I apparently did not factor in the really sweet virtue signaling opportunity that the liberals on this board valued so highly.
