I love when abby-normals suddenly discover something that normals have known their entire lives and attempt to lecture us on this thing we already knew. "You see, we can actually get along with people who don't think like we do! You didn't know that, did you? Well, I went ahead after years of being an asshole to my brother-in-law and started surfing with him and, blazes, we can actually get along like adults, without me holding it against him that he's a Trump voter, a Joe Rogan listener, and maybe worse, an electrician! Amazing!"

The author was self-effacing enough to acknowledge his own less-than-optimal behavior and used it
as an example for others to follow and make their own lives more open and productive especially with others who have deep political differences...yet MAS...and you...choose to ridicule him for it. Wish I could help you, but that prospect is drifting further and further away.
