Green, clean power at work!
Has anyone else had the experience of asking someone who breathlessly claims that we could convert solely to "green energy" now where the power for generators like this come from? I live for the silence after the question.

Yes and it’s like banging your head against a wall…
While I believe in solar/wind energy and other renewable energy sources…I’m also aware that we can’t totally cut off fossil fuels.
Unfortunately, the staunch “anti-fossil fuel” crowd isn’t going to change their ways.
"It's charging off our grid which is, uhhh, about 95% coal."
As a whole, the U.S. gets around 16% of its electric power from coal...and 17% from Wind/Solar...
plus ~18% from Nuclear. Coal is declining...Nuclear, Wind and Solar are increasing...
How do you get by being so poorly informed?
