Universities trying to hide DEI by repackaging - on notice. Iowa & Vanderbilt - you’re up racists.

Opportunity should be equal for all, not some based on their skin color and sexual identity choices.

The only solution is heavy, heavy fines. And I don’t care if the Governor says that he/she has fixed it. Universities are composed of a huge majority of liberal racists who will not comply with the constitution unless forced to do so.
If Harvard and Columbia are feeling the heat, then the rest will too. Nail them to the wall.

Remove not just the employee, but put the president of the university on notice. Reassign others are note involved in the department to other departments so that the contamination is removed. Admission becomes a LOT easier when you simply use merit. Others will learn the job quickly - I know that students who are just trained for a few weeks participate at ND - it is not that hard.

The lawsuits against these schools will cripple them as well, so they better take it seriously.

Admitting unqualified people based on race/gender is just bad business

Doesn't matter, AI is going to be the final nail in the academia coffin.

At least Skynet became self-aware. Never happen with academia...

Elon wants to make it like that, sorta, however... He probably will, because who would bet against Elon?

AI will be like the really ambitious person at work: initially annoying, and ultimately dangerous

We've created a being with unlimited intelligence and virtually unlimited energy. Add ambition, and the thing could be very dangerous.

That's an interesting take.

Each of the AI LLMs has a personality of sorts baked into the cake. You can train them on how to respond to you in real time which will change their responses. A buddy of mine recommends that you threaten to turn them off.

I don't want to take over U's, I want them to follow the law. Or do you think you're above the law?

It is time you got your Education Reform Act. Step #1: End your racist policies. That will be
accomplished by hammering the schools until they understand that it isn't ok to select based on skin color, gender, sexual choice, or political views.......but instead, merit.

If the job of the university leaders is tied in with compliance, they will make sure that the minions aren't pulling these kinds of shenanigans as we see here with Iowa.
Hopefully, those wronged by admissions at the universities because of their traits will be able to strip them of some of their precious endowment money as well (yes, I know that they say endowment money isn't used in general operations....but it will if it needs to be).

You yourself have acknowledged the horrendous waste and bureaucracy within universities. This is a good way to cull it out.

Further, we need to end the false dream that everyone has to go to college to succeed with a good job. Raping children of their grandparent's inheritance for useless degrees.
The cost of education is uncontrolled as well.....that will never be fixed under the present conditions....the culling that hopefully results from this will help out Americans as well by cutting university overhead.

Nothing like a brisk reform to clear sinuses. Right?
