Tolerance and propagation of soft on crime policies and decisions rests squarely on one side of the political spectrum. Why do leftists love giving recidivist criminals dozens of chances? Then they pretend to be agonized like everyone else when the perp finally perpetrates something especially reprehensible. Why do they refuse to own their votes when it comes to the issue of releasing dangerous criminals time and time again?

any official (i.e. district atty, judge, whatever) who releases a suspect without bail, if the
s.o.b. commits another crime, then the public official should also be arrested and held as an accomplice. in addition to being charged with all the same charges as the criminal, the official should be charged with lying for personal gain, violation of oath, aiding and abetting a criminal, and violating the public trust.
there is no excuse and it is infuriating to normal people.
Dems continue to treat the criminals as the victims and the victims as the criminals. These people
are sick.

A true story from my neck of the woods.
Back in the 90s up here. A judge decided a serial rapist from the county who did maybe a decade in the state institution for the criminally insane was worthy of release. He was to be released into one of the counties where he committed his crimes. Where would they release him? To the judge's neighborhood? To neighborhood of the white libs who make these releases possible? Nay. They were to release him to live in a trailer park outside of town, where kids lived. Stick him next to the poor people. Nobody listen to them, right?
No liberals respond to this post. It is indefensible, so they simply ignore but continue doing it.

That's because there is no single issue that either side owns more than this. I don't know of one
elected Republican at any level of government who supports cashless bail, the abolition of mandatory minimums and three strikes laws, the abolition of qualified immunity for cops, replacing cops with social workers, and "restorative justice." All that garbage comes exclusively from the Left.
