The government gravy train for our universities is at the end of the line. For most students is was always an unnecessary luxury… but AI s rendering it FOOLISH

In terms of learning your discipline…(aside from labs maybe.)
You can now have the best prof in the land (or AI) teach everyone).
Other than maybe socializing with people who may help your career later.
They better be able to help a lot…for a $300,000 investment.
And most online are not that great.
That doesn’t justify the astronomical and horrible costs of college, of course. But online classes are not the same.

She's on a path to have an associates degree by the time she graduates HS.
I’m sure you justify it with the wisdom of podcasts, so it’s fine.
She's a bright kid with a bit of an attitude, didn't get along with a few of her teachers and in those cases she got Bs rather than As which she's capable of. So she came home one day and declared she was going to be home schooled. My wife and I said, hell no. But she persisted with her arguments, so we made a deal. If she took one class on the home school program in the summer and got an A, she could do the homeschool program. It was Spanish 3, she finished it in 3 weeks and got a 97%.
But thanks for your judgement, dipshit.
And I am free to judge you for doing it.
All her choice, she's life hacking and I am really proud of her. She works 2 jobs, is out for a sport, volunteers at a church making and delivering lunches for underprivileged youth. Pretty sure she's on a great path.
In other words, overwhelmingly female HS students. I haven't encountered many male students who make it work.
I love the socialization argument. Yeah, your child will miss out on a lot of socialization, and most of it bad socialization.
Practical biology, too.

have to condense the 2+ hrs for me, Cheeks...when I post longish videos I usually direct viewers to 'time marks' for the key points....
Fingers crossed for your sake that you didn't watch every minute...

Mustafa Suleyman's book with that title.
Our challenge is to make 'Good Use' of this amazing tool...btw, back in the late '90's (1990's ;-)) I was promoting the initial benefits of what would later be termed "AI" to CIO's and CEO's visiting our company. Yes, the technology is 'Disruptive', but it's a natural evolution of mankind's drive for knowledge...not unlike Nuclear Power, that drive needs to be managed very carefully and intelligently...Agree?
