...the increase is the highest since the COVID-19 induced inflation days. We have a different "Pathogen" to deal with this time.

The "theory" is that short term pain will be followed by long term gain.

IF... tariffs result in the return of jobs for our US workers from overseas then a little temporary inflation will be worth it.

So far there has been an almost daily report of "promises" of foreign investment in this country.

One does not have to suffer from TDS to withhold optimism before there is evidence that this will work out.

the wealthiest country on earth suddenly become the "Victim" of world trade?

Trump is doing everything he can to tear down the USA...and the only foreign party that is smiling through it all is Vladimir Putin...whose country has oddly been spared any tariffs...why do you suppose that is?

Prices are up in grocery stores. Odd that MAGA is not bitching about it.

Since these are wholesale prices it’s only a matter of time before companies will have to pass them

So long as Trump is in office we'll have economic stupidity as evidenced by chaotic tariffs...and so long as the GOP controls the WH, House and Senate we'll have "Greedflation" with its trillion dollar tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans so that they can tend to their "Wants", while the other 99% struggle to deal with their "Needs" as costs continue to rise.

You know what this means?
