This could all be avoided if the GOP bought in with what everyone here seems to agree on.

Since Trump pushed for Texas to redistrict after only 5 years (just before the coming Mid-Terms),
it's on him to stop the process and agree to Independent Redistricting nationwide after the next census is taken...I assume you agree that's the right way to go.
