Person who had Covid suing to have his natural immunity recognized as the same as being vaccinated...
Link: How should we be treating people who have natural immunity after surviving Covid?
natural immunity from infection is not 100% either, but it's very rare. So, my answer is Yes.

the CDC guidelines...i.e. get vaccinated, even if you survived a bout with COVID.
BTW, the article is very informative...and from a top medical center (UCSF).

Legal question being raised.
The question is whether natural immunity is sufficient to allow an employee the same rights as a vaccinated employee?
infected, or seriously ill...be it from a vaccine or post-COVID anti-bodies. The article I posted addresses this to some degree...i.e. anti-bodies from having had COVID are not, what I'll call "silver bullets", especially if someone survived an "Alpha" version infection...their antibodies may not be geared to deal with the now prevalent Delta variant (better you read the article, yourself or details).
If you see a cause for legal distinctions here, please share the documentation...right now, I want medical professionals to show me how to keep myself, and my family safe...not an attorney.
Already know about Delta.
The issue is a court case about employee rights. It will be decided by a judge applying the law (most likely an attorney). Most of the evidence will be based on medical expert testimony and scientific articles no doubt.
I didn’t say how it would come out, by the way. Was merely pointing out that someone was making the challenge.
has learned thus far, having had COVID does not provide greater protection from reinfection than the vaccines...in fact, there is evidence that the vaccines, due to their more focused and concentrated delivery produce a better immune response. I've also learned that both Pfizer and Moderna purposely included test subjects who had already been infected with COVID-19 in their acceptance trials (i.e. both placebo and vaccine cohorts) and the evidence showed value for them when vaccinated...furthermore, the threat of re-infection for COVID survivors is real...our own ICU Doc has treated them...one very nearly died.
So...based on this, my opinion is that all persons should be vaccinated...they work...and they're free...again, just my opinion.
As for the legal issue...there are lawyers who will sue for virtually anything...even when they know that any reasonable person would discount their own suit...just ask Sydney Powell.
thoroughly next time before you come to converse or I will be compelled to beat you over the head with them until you run screaming into the night like a frightened child.
Of course, all in the name of good-natured discourse...

goal line...fortunately, it appears that the FDA is getting ready to give final approval pretty soon, so legal impediments should be removed, and mandates will be allowable...as soon as that happens, I favor those mandates.
The 'my body, my choice' doesn't apply, since one person's "freedom" absolutely impacts other peoples' well-being...
btw, if you're trying to 'bait' me on abortion, let's cover that in another thread.
....which is EXACTLY the argument made against abortion. In fact, an abortion is far more detrimental to the life of another (100% lethal in abortion ) than is COVID.
Your reasoning is sound if the presumption of risk is accurate. We know that it is in the case of abortion. While the case is not nearly as strong in the case of COVID, we are all glad that you have come down on the prolife side of the aisle.
agree that a mandate for vaccinations is warranted?...I do, but would wait just a little longer to get better legal 'cover'...even though the SCOTUS decision on that topic (1905?) has stood the test of time...
