...seems appropriate for institutions of Higher Learning to "Meet the Market"...Note that UCLA Med School's average MCAT and GPA scores for entering students didn't fall during their move to greater inclusion of students from different backgrounds...who will eventually go on to serve ALL Americans.

My wife and I started a neighborhood "Multicultural Picnic" each summer many years ago...always well attended. Families bring potluck food from their cultural backgrounds...but also imbibe what's on a large grill in the park...(Burgers, Franks and Brats (most popular). Did the same thing at our Parish...a 'sell out' each year...even have dancing from a different culture each time.
No need to be fearful...people are people with very similar likes, dislikes and concerns...but you have to get out and meet them to understand this.
That is because the culture is what makes people, not race. But did you know that RFK said the
Democrats are wealthier than the Republicans. I don't know his sources for this but I am sure he has them. Also, a Syracuse University professor wrote a book title "Who really cares" and after he researched what would be in its contents he determined that Republicans donated more than Democrats. He then switched his political affiliation from Democrat to Republican.

Been going on for 25-30 years in both venues...friends, neighbors and parishioners look forward to
those events. The Bay Area and the whole West Coast is incredibly diverse...scores of different cultures and languages...it's just who we are...no "signaling"...just "living" together.
The Dem left is obssessed with race and gender, except where they work, shop & play.
