How did they not know that having only 2 corrupt parties is the best democracy can do. Any deviation from this would make the matter worse. Idiots.

I’m sure the third party would be incorruptible and exactly in line with your beliefs. So carry on!
I keep thinking you can't be this dumb, you keep proving me wrong.
Some people can’t deal with the world as it is and have to live in fantasyland. We get it.
In fact, if everyone thought like you there would never be innovations, we'd still be stuck in the stone age. The wheel? You live in a fantasy world, we drag stuff on the ground with ropes. "What is a rope you ignorant fantasy world fool?"

You'd be sitting there going "We've always had kings, were always going to have kings, you guys are stuck in a fantasy world with this democracy gobbledygook!".
Our system of government was designed to be adaptable to change. The parties have been fighting change and the citizenry does not approve. This is quite possibly the biggest threat to the republic or "democracy" if you prefer.

It's astonishing you really think it would make things worse. We're in a political doom loop caused by both parties, here are some examples:
1. The Debt you said would never be a problem.
2. Very few of the 435 house seats are competitive, these were designed to be the representation for the citizenry.
3. Congress has had extremely low approval numbers for decades.
4. Very low voter turnout, this is very unhealthy for a democracy.
5. Almost no one participates in the primary process.
6. We just had an election between 2 people that didn't debate other candidates in their party.
This is not a healthy democracy, it can hardly get worse.
