When I think of Anthny Bilnken and Jake Sulivan the one word that comes to mind is "Milktoast."
When confronted with the challenge of the Gordian knot Alexander the Great unsheathed his sword and cut right through it.
Blinken (the perfect name for this wimp) and Sullivan could only stare with perplexity at our geopolitical issues... and do NOTHING!
By contrast, our bombastic simpleton President deals with diplomatic complexity with Alexandrian efficiency.
So far it seems like this approach has a chance of working.
