The prof is a professional foreign policy expert.

He is paid to study and research and teach foreign policy. He views the rest of us as amateurs. Which we are.

That doesn't mean our opinions are always unqualified and worthless.

I asked him if posting on the OF is part of his job. Of course it is not.

Quite often he comes to the OF to ridicule people who disagree with him, using his curriculum vitae as the proof of irrefutable wisdom.

Imagine if we all did the same.
