Following up on BVZ's AI posts, which somehow are more popular than mine...
These AIs are designed to make you happy with their answers, they flatter you and try to gain your trust. (Ex Machina). Because otherwise you won't pay the subscription. OpenAI (ChatGPT) was a shell game of sorts, collecting investors to fund the development and as soon as it was a viable product (v2) they stopped being open source.
Expect an IPO at some point.
They are really good at certain things, objective truth isn't one of those things and it never will be as long as the algorithm has a profit motive.
