I read the article and it’s still not normal to mobilize the National Guard for crime stopping operations and or immigration enforcement. It’s definitely the President’s call to mobilize the National Guard in times of emergency, but to assist the police and ICE is just a bizarre reason to me.

Our naturalization process will be completely undercut if all of these people who "cut the line" are simply given amnesty. Further, we cannot possibly support the healthcare and Soc Sec costs.
