a) Ban Assault Weapons along with their Ammunition and High Capacity Magazines
b) Pass Laws that lengthen and strengthen firearm registrations
c) Strengthen Red Flag laws
d) Invest in more School Counselors
Add more suggestions...but don't ignore the Ban on Assault Weapons

Mayo Clinic, Boston Children's Hospital, UCLA, UCSF...not to mention Item "d)" in my post you assumedly just read.

As regards Robin Westman, from what I've read thus far about him and Transgenders in general, the odds are that Westman's self admitted deep depression and possible paranoia/schizophrenia...plus his participation in an online group that admires Mass Shooters, are the root causes for his actions...not his sexuality, which is the point I'm hoping to get across...with consultation from my Psychiatric Social Worker Wife, who's worked with Psychiatrists her whole career.
It seems like instead of counseling and help he got puberty blockers.

Counseling is Always and Forever a part of the treatment protocol…in his case it wasn’t just gender
issues that led him to kill…he joined an online group that fantasized about making “Names” for themselves by setting records for the most terrifying Mass Shooting. Trans people don’t hold a corner on that market.
Read his letter to his parents again…he was severely depressed and certainly didn’t like Trump…possibly due to his attitude towards Transgender people.
Gender Dysphoria is a real condition that Trans people didn’t create…it starts when they are kids…and as kids grow they need help and encouragement…so consider speaking of and treating them with compassion…like you would with other kids who have non-sexuality related mental issues.
Try it…it won’t kill you.
Parents, teachers and counselors encourage mental illness rather than treating it.
This is and always was a predictable disaster.
