Went to basic training in the summer between her sophomore and junior years.
Won the physical fitness and marksmanship awards at basic training at 16.
Got a full-ride academic scholarship to Creighton, but continued with the guard.
She is a PA and still does the weekend warrior thing.as a mother of 3.
