There is a rumor that the Euro team will be staying at a hotel in my town. My son despises Rory so
…much that he is threatening to go pull the fire alarm there in the middle of the night during competition.
(I do not condone this behavior and counsel against it…though I might drive the getaway car.)
I just find Rory to be kind of douchey. I don’t dislike him to that degree.

It's a competition...have you ever done that? Hopefully, in brings out the best in skilled
competitors and helps them get even better under pressure...THEN, after it's all over, they show their respects for the opponents who pushed them to do their best.
One of the things I remember 'Ruggers' proclaiming was that they had TWO Competitions...one for the Match...and one for the communal Party afterwards...i.e. "Sportsmanship".

...a CA State Amateur (for the first Hdcp Flight above the 'open' championship Flight and three Club Championships (one for all comers and 2 Seniors)...plus a whole lot of losses in many other championships...and there was no disrespect evidenced in any of them.
But your posts aren't really about golf competitions or Rory McIlroy...you're just frankly consumed with anger and always have been since your days as Aragoto. Why?...only you know, I suspect it all started with disagreements over issues of greater importance...which is to be expected in an Open Forum...so how about focusing on such issues and putting your energies into crafting substantive arguments the might help prove your point...or you can continue to act like a Troll...your choice.

As for contact sports, I played on a state championship H.S. football team...never a threat to go D-1, but I put on the pads and mixed it up with those who did...made for great reunions.
