A chance to play The Old Course at St. Andrews.

For those so inclined, ballots for 2026 tee times at The Old Course opened today and will remain open until September 22.

Having played it, I can say it well worth the effort and investment to go to Scotland. I won't bore you my stories of St. Andrews. Suffice to say, most anyone that's played The Old Course has lots of fond memories of their time there.

I've provided a link below to the ballot. Be advised, you will be required to produce a verified handicap index before you tee off.

Finally, if your application is successful and you need a 4th, let me know!

Highly recommend it…the firm and double greens, bunkers are unique…

I’d also recommend getting a caddy…without one you’ll very likely hit a shot you think is safe but end up in trouble.

Played the Old Course back in the mid-80’s…stayed at Rusack’s Hotel aside the 18th green (also recommended). btw, back then you just had to get to the first tee before 7:00am…get a caddy and start playing…someone would come up later on a bicycle to get your green fee ;-)…no kidding. All in all a fabulous experience for any player in love with the game.

I wouldn't disgrace the place with my terrible golf game, although I would like to see it

Lucky dog. I’ve played a number of pretty impressive courses outside CONUS

Most people need a fifth after playing The Old Course.
