does a violent insurrection come to mind?

Gee, I bet you’ve got an anti gay comment in the ready to change the subject.

But mostly, I don’t believe one word of the claim. It’s just too scientific.

… and couple that with safe space zones, killing speakers becomes entirely predictable. The Academics. Again, the brilliant academies lead the way. The way away from their role of fostering rigorous debate.

No, abrasive and disrespectful speech does not always have to be condoned, but when speech in the form of differing opinions is viewed as something to be protected against it is not surprising that someone unhinged might step into what they consider to be the role of the “hero and protector”.

Voters like you have given the students permission to feel that way.

This has nothing to do with January 6th and everything to do with cancel culture. It's generational.

Your ass is cooked, and you know it. Enjoy the dizziness as you and your comrades spiral down the toilet. What a disastrous turn of events for your party. As bad as Trump getting shot during the campaign. You've lost the free speech argument for at least a generation to come.

You enabled these violent, the ends-justify-the-means, spoiled brat sociopaths, and as always happens, they have no boundaries, and so the Jacobins do as the Jacobins do. Go onto BlueSky and Reddit and observe the thousands of left-wing Cro-Magnons celebrating this. Thousands. Urban rubes, my friend, urban rubes.

Right indeed. You can’t have it both ways. See my reply below to West Coast.

the nation with illegals, and killing millions of unborn kids. Not to mention more weapons to Ukraine to prolong the war and kill hundreds of thousands senselessly! Someone should disenfranchise you on those facts alone. All that death! Can you feel it, brother?

Stick to your premise re 1/3 of students believing violence is fair play to stop speech.

January 6th gave them permission.

Voters like you green lighted violence as fair play in democracy.

Own it.

You make as much sense as tits on a bull. It's obvious why you're offering up this sophistry right now. You know how bad this is going to be for your tribe.

Naturally, the violence that ensued from your votes doesn't count.

Is your argument that when Booth killed Lincoln, it was not a political act? You really want to go with that? What about when Russia unleashed violence on Ukraine? Not political? This is actually kind of fun.

So don’t pretend you abhor violence.

You believe in violence. And you believe violence is acceptable as a political action tool.

I do not.

You suck at debating and you contradict yourself within seconds of each other. Alas, it's not like you're a lawyer or something and need to be good at this.

If we lose a free and fair election, then attack! attack! attack!

And violence is encouraged.

January 6th was my worst day as an American. It should have been Game Over for Donald Trump.

But no. Voters gave him another term.

If you voted for Trump in 2024, then you voted for violence as an acceptable platform for political action.
