He should be pressed to address all of these:
Did you know that local Afghan commanders were making deals to surrender provincial cities to the Taliban without a fight?
If the answer to #1 is yes, how did this affect U.S. plans to evacuate translators and other U.S. allies?
If the answer to #1 is no, why did we not know this?
What are the plans to get the remaining U.S. allies out?
The Taliban now controls more territory than in 2001. What happened to the descendants of the Northern Alliance? Are Dostum’s forces in Mazar-I-Sharif and the Tajiks in the northeast cooperating with the Taliban?
What happened to the “elite” Afghan units we have been hearing about for 20 years?
In retrospect, should we made stamping out corruption a higher priority?
Can we now stop sending taxpayer money to Pakistan?
What is your assessment of the character of the 2021 Taliban? Can we believe their assurances of a desire to be good international citizens? Are they essentially the same group that came to power under Mullah Omar?
What do you see as the Taliban-al Qaeda relationship moving forward?

Why the fucking hurry?
Pledged to leave if they did not target US forces.
If we didn’t go, that would have changed.

How is it possible that the Taliban has a greater military force in 2021 than in 2001?
Total fucking waste.
will win. Our military leaders who are responsible for training knew it. But they didn't want to risk their career to tell truth. After all our military leaders just like their trained Afghan solders take military as a job. Taliban solders take their activity as fight.

Shia vs Suni. They hate each other.
Iran offered to help us in 2001. We refused. One of many blunders we made in the last 20 years.
a lot of the arming of the Taliban. The relationship between Iran and the Taliban is a reality despite this in vitro thinking that Shia's would never work together with Suni's. The proof stares the US in the face. Read the article that I linked.
"We have ties with the Taliban, and they visited Iran, where we held meetings with them," Abbas Araghchi, the political deputy at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, proclaimed in an interview with TOLOnews last month.
