It's fundamentally an empty experience other than winning elections.

I loved The Natural
I don't care that it veered from the book.
One of his last films, All Is Lost, was pretty good as well. I think he spoke 3 words as a one-man show.
The best baseball movie, IMO.
Great supporting cast, as well. I've quoted so many lines, so many times, over the years.
Filmed in part at the Rockpile in Buffalo.
When I lived in Buffalo for a year during the mid 1980s, I caught a couple of Bisons games there.
That news was a shocker…especially after reading about his own life story…

He largely eschewed the trappings of Hollywood.
He also appeared in some of my favorite films: The Sting, Jeremiah Johnson, Downhill Racer, The Candidate. Additionally, he set aside a chunk of land in Utah that became the Sundance Ski Area, which grew into something much bigger. Godspeed.
Liked Butch and Sundance, great movie.
He had a great body of work.
Also produced and directed "A River Runs Through it."

Thoroughly enjoyed he and Pitt working together in "Spy Game" in 2001.
