Colleges have been the breeding ground for LGBTQ radicalization among the young. But parents need to understand that the seeds are being planted before that.

Reddit is often very useful, but it is also one of the most radical left wing havens on the internet. Online gaming using discord provides private and open channels with the opportunity for exposure to radical views. These are just conveyances, but they are being used early on in a broad way to prepare the way for the radical ideology that consumed Charlie Kirk’s killer.

Then they get to college. And the conversion process is practiced and refined. They know the questions to ask that the young child is unable to answer. They know the buttons to push to make their radical views seem just. They know how to separate the child from his faith (or at least corruptly modify it).

Professors in positions of authority who seem all-knowledgeable in their sculpted bubbles; peer pressure from fellow indoctrinated classmates; sexuality hedonistically offered, tempted, and encouraged without boundaries to pervert the child; theneed to belong in the first experience of being away from home;
etc, etc.

And it’s not a specific effort anymore….the entire culture of many schools, of many online gaming communities, of many campus activity clubs has now already been well established as radical left wing. Just entering into it is similar to the analogy of walking into a giant pot party - they may not think that they are taking part….but it’s in the air.

Prepare your children. Choose your college and activities carefully and know that the child will encounter everywhere at some point. Understand that not all professors are radicalized, but let them be prepared for it when they run into them because they are so prevalent that they will.
Every professor is a human being and let’s their views influence their class in some way - (example: the prof who tells the class..”now, now everyone, let’s hear what he has to say” is letting the child and everyone else know what “the right view” really is just by how he says this).
Also, make your child aware that the radical left is very vocal about proclaiming their views while very active in socially shaming any dissent (the conservatives around them have sadly been trained to be silent because they are attacked when they share their views).

The key is to ground them in their faith well enough and buy enough time until they are old enough to see the indoctrination for what it is.
But there is hope. There is a strong movement away from radical liberalism in Gen Z right now. There is also a strong resurgence in the Catholic Church of practicing Gen Z young people.

Be aware, or your kids may be radicalized into hatred and Godlessness like Charlie Kirk’s killer and SO many others who celebrate (and thus participate morally) in his violence. Most here know of examples in their own families.
It’s much worse than when we were growing up.
