Spot on almost all issues (especially on our arrogance) except refusing to give Trump credits for
his effort of withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Trump even fired mad dog Mattis over his objection of military reduction on Syria and Afghanistan. They gave a lot of credits to Biden for his pursue for withdrawal, which I think is fair to Biden.
It's not the idea to withdraw that is the problem, it has been the incompetent plan& execution

Read about the Battle of the Bulge. The fighting was brutal my Grandfather was there. He
was an interpreter since he spoke German. The Nazi commander took no US or UK prisoners they were killed on sight. After the US and UK won the battle hundreds of Germans were executed.
Is this Christian or against the Geneva Convention? Absolutely, but there fundamentalists in the ME see death as an honor. So let’s give them what they want. Otherwise, unless we prove to them and the world that we are the baddest on the block this will continue to curse our children and grandchildren.

Interesting you should mention that. Soon before my pops passed I was visiting him and he was
watching the tube. The story that was on was what to do with these battlefield combatants taken prisoner in the stanbox.
My Dad who was in the MP’s in Europe during WW II pipes up that he knows what they would have done with them. He said they (the MP’s) never got SS prisoners from the front. Our guys mostly just shot them outright. They did the same to some of our guys. I said yeah, but there were no CNN cameras. He said they might have shot them also if they covered that war like they did this one.
