The power of prayer.

Miracles happen around us far more often that we realize. Some don’t want to see them and will dismiss anything - even a miracle like Our Lady of Fatima which was witnessed by over 100,000 people spread out in various areas at once. For them, nothing matters, they are making a choice.

This kind of amazing miracle is more frequent. We just need to keep our eyes (and our minds) open. Never doubt the power of prayer, and pray for those who do.

event. And you know what? It was a needless event. It's another shooting where people are injured and slaughtered where
the answers are always, "thoughts and prayers" - "it's not the time for politicizing, it's a time for caring" - Well great, another killing event
of death and community destruction at the hands of a gunman and this country won't do anything about it, just "thoughts and prayers".

So, yeah, it's a miracle she will survive a bullet lodged in her brain but it was a skilled surgeon who had to do
the surgery - the miracle is the skill of the surgeon, not the prayer - God doesn't discriminate - he gave us all
brains we (and I mean people like you) refuse to use them.

I guess God just decided that the prayers of other moms were insufficient or something. Makes sense.

Patients who were prayed for had better outcomes.

Your logic: "If God doesn't hand out miracles equally, then he must not exist" - really the same

old argument that "If God exists, why does He let bad things happen?" The oldest atheistic argument in the books.

Bad things happen because of Original Sin and Free Will....I'm sure you've heard the rest (though I do believe that you really didn't understand it or that it was not explained well to you at the time).

The neuro surgeon cannot explain it and had tears in his eyes after seeing it. I have seen the same in my life - both private and professional. I don't feel like I need to see those miracles, but they are all around for those who don't want to believe. God calls you back.

I have no intent to push you farther away, but you are making a choice not to believe the obvious. I hope that someday, you change your mind.

It doesn't have to be. But Christian nationalists are taking over, and their message is toxic.

Superstitious dimwits are making our public policy these days, while they await the rapture.

And can you imagine being the parent of a kid who died, being told that God intervened on behalf of someone else's kid but not yours?

….we all ebb and flow in our degree of holiness/goodness, and God loves us so that He wants as many of us to be be with him as possible. He also is all-knowing, and he knows where we were, are, and will be in our lives.
He grabs his little ones (we are part of that) when he can.
(If you ever wonder why “bad things” happen to good people seemingly more frequently - it is true, and this is why.

God also sometimes has plans for people as well who might impact others so that they can move close to him.

The miracle is sometimes different than what was asked for (for example the gift more time with someone when rather than a cure when His Will is still to take that person).

The ultimate goal above all worldly things is to make to heaven with God.

I’ve been gifted with so many gift experiences like this that it is easy to believe. I believe that we all gifted frequently with these miracles - but we have to be willing to see them. God won’t force someone to believe.
