Prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia revived the case against Comey shortly after Halligan was sworn in Monday, and are preparing to seek an indictment as early as Thursday before a grand jury in Richmond, according to three people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the case. The matter was investigated in Virginia because Comey testified remotely from his home in McLean.
Trump urged Bondi in a social media post over the weekend to charge Comey, James and Schiff with crimes. “We can’t delay any longer, it’s killing our reputation and credibility,” he wrote. “They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!”
Siebert, a career prosecutor who had been serving as interim U.S. attorney since January, determined that the evidence that Comey made materially false statements was insufficient to charge the former FBI director. Investigators analyzed at least two of Comey’s responses to questions from Republican senators at the September 2020 hearing, according to the people familiar with the matter.
So, maybe yes, it bit my tongue some time ago, for no reason related to your breathless emoting here. I haven't been starting political threads. You might not have noticed.
But where to begin with your post?
You condone selective prosecution when Dems do it (saying you trust the judicial system to be fair), but condemn selective prosecution when Trump does it. I guess I'll just say I trust the judicial system.

You will have to explain in detail what you find wrong with my posts.
How could you not know that when you politicized prosecutions, it wouldn't come back to haunt you? You started the spiral. Trump learned from you. None of this is good for our country. My only hope is that you have learned your lesson. I doubt it though, given the way you are posting.
Hon. Pamela Jo Bondi (01:16:27):
Senator, yes. I believe that the Justice Department must be independent and must act independently. The number one job is to enforce the law fairly and even-handedly, and that's what will be done if I am confirmed as the attorney general.
Senator Klobuchar (01:16:46):
So you will provide an insurance to every member of this committee that the Justice Department will only follow the facts in the law, and the White House will play no role in cases investigated or brought?
Hon. Pamela Jo Bondi (01:16:58):
Senator, it will be my job if confirmed as attorney general to make those decisions. Politics will not play a part. I've demonstrated that my entire career as a prosecutor, as attorney general, and I will continue to do that if you confirm me as the 87th attorney general of the United States of America.
My signature says: "Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good."
Perhaps we could modify it slightly for this conversation: "Democrats preach fairness until they are dominant, then they promote unfairness (while calling their unfairness 'fairness')."
Dems have testified similarly, and then gone against their testimony, but the cat has your tongue when that happens.
On principle, I condemn all attacks on the Constitutional Republic, not just those by the Left. Can you say the same? I don't think you can. You certainly don't act like you are bothered by attacks on the Constitutional Republic from the Left; indeed, you support them by pretending they are not attacks. And because you attack when you can, I just can't get as upset with the other side when it strikes back. Of course I wish both sides would do right, but allowing only your side, the Left, to do wrong will destroy this country faster than allowing the Right to fight back. When you reform, I will stand next to you and fight the unreformed on the Right. Until then, let's see what happens in a fair fight, where the Right is not having to fight with one hand tied behind its back and the Left fights with both hands. Feel free to express outrage at this, but just know that you are actually expressing outrage at yourself as the leader and initiator of this process, so your outrage won't affect me. I will just lament your lack of self-awareness on this topic.
