proves it's ok to admit one's mistakes...provided you fix them...which Obama did with the website...the rest is a work in progress, but the public wants the ACA "fixed"...not "repealed".

But Bay of Pigs was not a US government operation and did not result in catastrophic loss of lives to bloodthirsty terrorists nor serious humiliation to the country.
JFK also had the best speech writers ever,

He owned the failure though. In one of his speeches he said we would learn a lesson from it.
He also at least had some sense of humor. He quipped afterward when his poll numbers went up after the debacle, that the more he fucked up, the better liked he was by the public.

btw, the Bay of Pigs operation was government sanctioned...by JFK...he showed accountability...his own Profile in Courage.
