will survive until our Sun runs out of fuel and explodes...it's the well being of the human species we need to deal with as a result of a rapidly changing living environment, caused by the continued burning of Fossil Fuels for Heat and Power when other sources, that don't affect our climate, exist for those uses.

I say that as a California native.
You may be a native, but you haven’t lived here in years. Don’t put credence in the MAGA propaganda you read.
Everything here is significantly more expensive than the rest of the country, with the possible exception of the greater NY area, including but not limited to: sales tax, income tax, cost of goods, and housing. It’s pretty anti-internal combustion engine here, and that is evident. Tech jobs pay well, but you could have a comparable standard of living elsewhere for far less.
There are speed and traffic cameras everywhere, traffic is bad, and things are crowded. Public education has fallen significantly in the rankings and kids from CA can’t get into local schools or want to get out of the state.
Yes, weather is and has always been great but you are paying a hefty premium for that. So, if you like it, good for you, but this isn’t a model for other states or the US economy because the revenue derived from Silicon Valley makes the uber left tax and spend possible.
California is expensive primarily because of high demand for the amazing weather,, extensive economic opportunities, and a housing shortage.
We have an extensive EV charging network, but I wouldn’t call it anti-ICE. In fact, more ICE cars are sold in California than any other state X 10.
The traffic cameras are part of a pilot program in LA, San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, and Glendale. They’re not everywhere, in fact cameras were taken down in San Diego years ago.
Public education is as good as the district. My kids had an amazing public education experience and they’re continuing it in a public university. Your premise can be applied in any public education district.
The bottom line is that you don’t live here, therefore you’re speaking out of your ass.
with loyalty to DJT is going to have a lot of explaining to do to voters...and not just the majority Dems...we're talking Independents and moderate Republicans as well.
They are entitled to their opinion...at least in CA...but not "Alternative Facts"...
and took over the Presidency and Senate. Imagine if they had their shit together how much better they would have done.
Governor seat in CA. As for the national stage…we wouldn’t be having this discussion about Redistricting if the GOP was satisfied with their 2026 election prospects.
Try thinking Openly…Objectively…and Critically.
