We've been using Youtube TV for a few years in Florida but it seems like every other month they were jacking up the monthly fee so I cancelled last April. Heading south next month and need to get a new service. Youtube TV is excellent, easy to use, love the multiscreen sports feature, but I just can't stomach the continuous rate increases. We've got Xfinity as our internet provider so maybe I just bundle up the TV as well? I don't know.
I'm sure you guys have done your homework so I'll happily take any advice you've got. In terms of our basic needs, we've already got Netflix, Apple, Disney, Prime and that's what we usually watch.... so I'm just looking to be able to watch college football on Saturdays, NHL during the week, sports channels and local news every day.
All advice appreciated.

I had FUBO for a couple of months in temporary housing and it was fine. Switched to AT&T streaming when I closed on the house because I had it bundled with my phone at a good rate. Eventually swapped it for YouTubeTV which has been good. (Also have Netflix and Amazon prime.)
I use cable mainly for my internet connection.
I was actually thinking about cancelling Hulu and looking into YouTube TV for this exact same reason. I swear the Hulu rate goes up monthly. Guess I'm out of luck.
BTW - I was recently in your fine country for a late summer vacation, visiting Vancouver and then Banff. My first visit to both. I thought they were both spectacular. Banff is outrageously gorgeous and I want to return. I won't do the usual US vs Canada Rockies comparison - each are terrfic - but Banff just felt different, in a good way.
You should have told me you were going to Banff. We owned a place in Canmore for about 10 years so I know the area well. Between summer climbing and winter skiing we were out there about 6-8 weeks a year. I could have told you all the hidden gems. Next time you're going let me know. Banff, outside of the tourist areas, is my favorite place on earth and it's not even close.
Not looking for a deal. Just access.

I’ve been with DirecTV since ‘96. Can’t cut the cord. Love the quality and the endless channel selection.
