...and other official business of state?

Stick to using it for private correspondence, fund raising, and the like.

Ok. But can you agree?...at least going forward? Is this really a partisan issue?

Seemed like something we could all agree on. I guess I was wrong??? Are Democrats "pro-the-pen?"

Sure, who cares. It’s just a way for Trump to attack Biden.

All stupid and irrelevant. Every president - including this one - since the invention of the auto pen uses the auto pen.

So, you are pro-auto-pen. You think it is good to have laws & executive orders signed by a device?

Interesting. I just figured that was some common ground we could reach. I didn't realize Democrats thought it was important for the president to have the ability to not sign his executive orders or laws passed by Congress.

I wasn't making a point about Biden, or Obama (as far as I know, the only presidents to use auto-pen, but if you want to counter that, I'm open to more information in that regard). I wasn't trying to attack them. I was just asking if we could agree that in the abstract, as a general proposition, using an auto-pen opened the door to potential abuses, and couldn't we all agree that POTUS sign things personally...and maybe even with witnesses if possible.
