But don't pay any attention to that. Just make sure you keep scoring political points in the national media and on internet forums.
I'll still stick with the SP500.
Gold should not be doing this "well." The fact that people (or perhaps central banks) are still buying it at $4000/ozt does not bode well for the world, for the US, or for you and me.
Faith in the dollar is going down worldwide. I'm not a financial advisor by any stretch of the imagination, but no one should have their money in cash or cash equivalents right now; assets valued in terms of USD will rise as the USD collapses. But, we shouldn't be happy about any of this, even the S&P 500 setting very questionable records.
We should probably all invest in seeds and ammo.

and the podcaster asked his guest, "I'm interested in how you think these economic issues affect the politics of the nation..." I was thinking, "Wrong question, moron! You should be asking how political issues are affecting economics of the country." But, we all like to argue politics...the modern day equivalent of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic as it goes down, so we can think we are doing something important to solve the problem.

Not sure why we are inviting each other to own our votes, but you do seem to like to do that periodically, so I thought I would extend the courtesy back to you.
Ruining this nation. Own it coward.

helped foist on this nation. That is cowardice,
I did say "Um. OK, I guess." when you asked me to own my vote. What more do you want? I just think the "own it" line is silly, which is why I displayed my "bravery" with that phrase. Everyone here owns their vote (so no one here is a coward by your standard), so I don't know why you keep saying it as if you are making some winning point.
As to the emotion, there is no projection. You are the one calling names, and being frantic, and trying to make my neutral post above about Trump. I just started a politically neutral thread. Granted, I did make a point that people who do what you do ... people like you who think politics is more important than people's pocket books ... that those people are missing the reality of what is coming. You didn't have to step forward and volunteer to be insulted by my post, but you couldn't help it, because you are emotional, not logical, about all of this.
