The goal of negative democracy is finding the worst and not letting him get elected. It's not a progressive system. It is not a system that allows you, after round and round of voting, after one election and another election, to you find a better and better persons in the country and put them into WH. It doesn't work like world cup tournament that the best team comes from every round of competition. In my opinion negative democracy is worse than merit-based authoritarianism.

Hillary, Trump and Biden have been the only viable options in the general the last two elections. All bad choices, IMO.
